For the third consecutive year, Case Western's A Team has earned a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series. This year, the tournament will be hosted in Hamilton Ohio. The A team finished the Cleveland Regional with a Record of 7-1 after hitting Edinborough, Michigan State A, Indiana B, and Notre Dame C. Athavan Balendran won an All-Regional Attorney award and Ren Weeden won both an All-Regional Attorney and Witness Award.
Case Western sent two other teams to Regional Competitions as well. The C team was the first Case Western team to compete at the Columbus Regionals. This scrappy team of underdogs finished with a record of 4-4 in one of the most difficult regionals around. Member, Mark Wang, won a perfect 20 ranks All-Regional Attorney Award. The C Team also walked away with the Spirit of AMTA award for their display of exemplary sportsmanlike conduct. The B team competed with the A team at the Cleveland Regionals. After a rough first day with a record of 1-3, the B team rallied on day two and finished with a record of 4-4 after making a strong play for the 7th spot out of the Regionals. The B team did not leave empty handed, member, Libby Schubert, was able to win an All-Regional Attorney Award after an impressive showing.
