Dearest Smox was the trusted case box that safeguarded the affidavits and pre-trial materials for team Valor all of Fall Semester and the A team at the Hoosier Hoedown. After a successful day in Bloomington, Indiana, with a record of 4-0, the A team headed back to the hotel after placing Smox in the trunk of the van. Unfortunately, no one checked to make sure the back door of the van was securely closed. In a heartbreaking turn of events, as the van drove down the road, the back doors flew open and Smox tumbled outside into the cold, dark night.
Smox was a good case box. He never harmed anyone and up until his demise, he kept all case materials safe. He once was almost forgotten all alone in the law school the night before a tournament and during his life he lost both of his eyes. But, never once did Smox lose his charm and spirit. We will miss Smox with all of our hearts. He served us well.
