The Case Western Mock Trial program, in their duty as Warden's of the North, held the 9th Annual Spartan Throwdown at the Justice Center in Cleveland Ohio. Schools from around the region came by to demonstrate their skill. All three Case teams competed with Team Valor taking third place with a record of 6-2. The program also saw Individual Awards from Sarah Thomas (17 Ranks Outstanding Witness for her performance of CEO Sawyer Shaw), Sanjna Arvind (17 Ranks, Outstanding Attorney for her role as a closing attorney on the plaintiff), and Tim O'Shea (18 Ranks, Outstanding Witness for his role as expert Sam Owens). In the end, the University of Pittsburgh was able to claim the top prize of the tournament. Congratulations to all competitors for a tournament well fought! We can't wait to see you again next year!
